Hey thanks for checking out and considering SENT Conference.
The heart of SENT YA Conference is about empowering and equipping every YA believer for everyday impact. I’m convinced this is not just a good idea but our God-given calling for our lives. So, we want to intentionally align ourselves with this mission and unify together, as a movement, to see a generation raised up to make disciples for the kingdom of God.
Below is a brief rundown of details and what you can expect at the conference. Finally, as you register it’s just $20 which covers afternoon tea and dinner. If finances is a barrier at all please let us know and we can help organise sponsorship. Look forward to seeing you there and I’m so excited about partnering with you in this amazing mission God has us on.
Much blessing.

As well as others…
Lachlan is married with four kids and loves surfing in his spare time. His background is working as a chippy before coming to faith during his apprenticeship years. Immediately he was gripped with a passion to tell others about the life changing power of Christ. Today Lachy is the senior pastor at The Gathering in Tweed Heads NSW. He has been leading this church for 11 years and is passionate about seeing every believer raised up to reach people with the power of the gospel. Lachy is a leader that is equipped to empower and teach others around outreach and mission as he lives it out in his own life. The gathering church has seen much growth and multiplication of leaders that are also trained to do likewise. Lachy is a sort-after speaker, especially around the topic of outreach and local mission.
Andy is the outreach pastor at Citipointe Church Brisbane and the founder and director of Red Frogs Australia. Red Frogs is now Australia’s largest support network in Australia providing relief around major drug and alcohol-related events. It continues to grow on a global level, expanding into multiple different countries around the world. It’s an extraordinary outreach movement empowering the church to impact lives in many different spheres of influence. After 22 years Andy’s determination to impact lives is unwavering and an absolute inspiration to any believer.
As a leader, Andy was a finalist in the Australia of the Year ‘Local Hero’ Queensland 2015; listed among American AACSB top 100 Influential Leaders 2015; winner of a QUT Outstanding Alumni Award for Excellence, 2015; and a finalist in the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Awards, 2016; he was presented with the Key to the City by Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner in 2018.
Steve is the QLD Baptist Director of Local Mission since September 2023.
He first started in pastoral ministry at South Pine Community Church, serving as Youth Pastor and then Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor. Before accepting the call to QB, Steve and his wife Kristy, along with their three children, spent seven years in pastoral ministry at ONE&ALL Church in San Dimas, California. There he led a team developing their multi-site strategy and church planting.
Steve has always had a passion for outreach and to see people come to faith in Christ. Furthermore he’s excited about seeing a YA generation raised up for evangelism and outreach across the Qld Baptist movement.
Jamie has been married for 24 years to Janie (yes nearly the same name) and has 4 incredible children. He has a deep love for surfing and the surfing/coastal community hence moved to the Sunshine Coast 13 years ago to be a part of Jesus Kingdom coming to that region.
He's been in ministry for 24 years. For the first 17 years, he was involved in non-profit youth organisations where they would use film and music to reach the youth and young adult generation with the gospel. Throughout this time He played with a band called Selahphonic travelling through many places across the world. For the past 7 years, Jamie and his wife Janie have been pastoring a church in Noosa but have recently stepped back to explore more of what God is doing across Australia, enjoy his family and write a book. He loves Jesus and loves following him and sharing about him.
Ty is married to Sha and are new parents to their son Hezekiah.
Ty is a passionate leader who models what it means to know God and walk with him obediently. He continually has stories of sharing faith with people in the community on a regular basis.
Ty has been leading and pastoring in kids ministry for a number of years but is now YA’s and next Generations Pastor at Bridgeman Baptist Church. He’s passionate about seeing every believer walk out their God-given calling and seeing the next generation impacted for Christ.
