Our heart as a community church is to show the love of Jesus to those experiencing hardship in our local community. Through the benevolent work of Bridgecare Ltd and the generous support of our community we have been able to lend a helping hand by providing practical support to those most vulnerable.
Hampers
All year hampers are made with love for those in need of food throughout the local community.
Streetlight
On Monday’s at ‘Aspley Rest Park’ & Thursday’s at Emma Miller Place (CBD) teams build community for people experiencing homelessness.
Community Teams
Each Thursday community teams assist with physical tasks that need completing at homes and community centres
Financial COACH
Practical help with budgeting and financial support.
Family COACH
Mentoring support for families seeking support and growth through challenges.
Chemo Care Kits
Chemo Care Kits are a support to our friends going through chemotherapy. They include items that will be a small blessing in a difficult season.
True FELLA
Bridgecare financially supports True FELLA and their work with young people in the juvenile correction system.
Christmas Hampers
This year we are planning to give away 3,500 Christmas Hampers to those in need in our local community who are doing it tough.

Bridgecare Ltd is the care arm of Bridgeman Baptist Community Church. Your donation helps us to provide practical support to people in need in our community; including meals and social support for the homeless, food hampers and meals for those in crisis, mentoring for families in need, at-home help for vulnerable people, support for at-risk youth, and chemo packs, as well as valuable support to other organisations in our local community.

Where Most Needed Fund
The Where Most Needed Fund allows us to allocate resources to the areas of greatest need, ensuring we can provide timely crisis support, emergency housing, essential hampers, and valuable programs facilitated by our team. Your donation helps us respond swiftly and effectively to those in urgent situations, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Hamper Fund
The Hampers Fund ensures that individuals and families in our local community receive much-needed food assistance throughout the year. Each hamper is thoughtfully prepared with love and care, providing nourishment and support to those facing times of crisis.

The Streetlight Fund supports Bridgecare's efforts to build community and provide essential services for people experiencing homelessness. Every Monday at Aspley Rest Park and Thursday at Emma Miller Place (CBD), our dedicated teams offer meals, social support, and companionship to those in need. Your support helps us continue to provide this practical assistance, making a significant difference in their lives.
At Risk Youth Fund
The At Risk Youth Fund empowers Bridgecare to support and mentor at-risk youth through the True Fella programs run by dhiiyaan (Aboriginal Corporation). Your contributions enable us to provide practical assistance and guidance, helping these young individuals build brighter futures.
